Portfolio: Professional Work | Personal Gallery

Vincent Van Panda, who gave an ear to stop tobacco smoking

Pandas like to work with crayons because they aren't as messy to use as paint.

This section of Pandapolis is my portfolio of professional and personal artwork from the past decade. It shows my talents in graphic design, webmastering, and cartooning.

The Professional Work samples include the company or organization they were created for and their purpose.
The Personal Gallery has works created for family, friends and myself as I developed my skills.

Personal Artwork

Maw and Paw 2008
A new bitmap cartoon created for the birthdays and anniversaries section of my church's website. This happy couple has nothing to do with Ma and Pa Kettle.

For This Reason 2000
A wedding cartoon layered together on Photoshop from three separate drawings.

He is Risen 2001
An Easter cartoon with the risen Christ meeting the children of all nations.

Lindsay and the Koala 2001
A PhotoShop collage of tennis player Lindsay Davenport winning the 2000 Australian Open and a koala, created after a the notorious Anna Kournikova email virus (her rival) attacked the internet in January 2001.

Musica 1997
One of the first drawings I created on Adobe Photoshop, a combination retro-ethnic design.

Happy Birthday 2008
Like "Maw and Paw", this cartoon was added to my church's website to celebrate birthdays in the congregation. This is the best way to ingest a birthday cake, with your bare hands.

Mom: She Who Must Be Obeyed 2005
A Mother's Day greeting card I created that year which was also displayed on my church's website. The phrase is a variation of a Big Dogs t-shirt slogan for rightfully proud moms.

Dad: He Who Is The Man 2005
Equal time for Father's Day. Notice Mom is returning the favor for the rose and chocolates on her day.

Wade Rivers 2002
Wade Rivers, the fish-crazy alter ego of author Robert Scott McKinnon, is a regular feature in Freshwater and Marine Aquarium magazine. This is my cartoon salute to the ol' sea dog.
